How Free Towing Works
Call Precision Auto Repair
Call us first so we can confirm eligibility and service area.
Authorize the Tow and Initial Testing
We’ll text you a link to authorize the towing and initial vehicle testing terms before dispatch. Once authorized by you, we dispatch the tow.
Complete Your Qualifying Repair
Once we get a look at the vehicle we'll send a detailed estimate and digital inspection of your vehicle. Complete $500 or more in qualifying repairs with our South Windsor shop and your eligible local tow and initial testing charge are waived.
Eligible Towing Area
The Free Towing Program is available for disabled vehicles located in:
South Windsor • East Windsor • Manchester • East Hartford • Windsor • Windsor Locks
Eligibility is based on the vehicle’s pickup location and must be confirmed before the tow is dispatched. Contact Precision Auto Repair at 860-896-5911 before arranging any towing service.
Vehicles outside the listed area may still be eligible for towing at an additional charge, but they don't automatically qualify for the Free Towing Program.

FAQs
Is the tow really free?
Yes. If your vehicle is disabled within our eligible towing area and you complete $500 or more in qualifying repairs with Precision Auto Repair, the eligible towing charge is waived.
Is vehicle testing included too?
The initial authorized vehicle testing charge is waived when you complete $500 or more in qualifying repairs. Some problems require additional testing, which we'll explain and obtain authorization for before proceeding. The maximum discount is 1 hour of testing performed by a licensed Technician.
What happens if I don’t approve the repair?
You're never required to approve a repair. If you decline the qualifying repair, you're responsible for the previously authorized vehicle testing charges and the applicable $250 or $300 towing charge.
Can my vehicle be towed from my house?
Yes. The vehicle must be disabled and located within the eligible towing area.
What if my vehicle breaks down somewhere else?
Call us at 860-896-5911. We’ll confirm whether its location falls within the program’s towing area before arranging the tow.
Do I need to call a towing company myself?
No. Contact Precision Auto Repair first. We’ll confirm eligibility, obtain authorization, and coordinate the eligible tow for you.
Can I use my own towing company?
The promotion applies only to towing arranged and authorized through Precision Auto Repair. Contact us before dispatching a towing company.
Can I use the program for a vehicle that still drives?
No. The Free Towing Program is intended for disabled vehicles within the eligible service area, not towing for convenience.
Which repairs qualify for the promotion?
Eligibility depends on the required repair and total authorized repair amount. We’ll explain whether the repair qualifies before work begins.
What areas qualify for free towing?
The program covers disabled vehicles located in South Windsor and the other communities listed in our Eligible Towing Area above. Call us before arranging the tow so we can confirm the pickup address and eligibility.
