CEO & Founder
James Stephenson
James has been an automotive technician for nearly 30 years and earned his Master Technician certification nearly two decades ago. He founded Precision Auto Repair in West Springfield, MA in 2005 and has grown it into one of Google’s top-rated independent repair shops, named Best Auto Repair Shop in West Springfield for 10 years running. Outside the shop, he enjoys time with his family, fitness, and the outdoors.
Technician
Steve
Steve is a Master Automotive Technician with more than 30 years of experience and a reputation for consistent, high-quality work. He helps lead technician training alongside Ricardo, with a strong focus on process, diagnostic accuracy, and critical thinking.
Outside the shop, Steve enjoys time with his wife and two daughters, house projects, and riding his motorcycle.
Service Manager
Nick
Nick brings more than a decade of automotive experience to Precision Auto Repair and serves as Service Manager. He focuses on systems, communication, and accountability to strengthen operations, support technicians, and deliver a great customer experience.
Outside of work, Nick enjoys time with his wife, their two Yorkies (Bear and Otis), and watching crime shows.

Alex
Alex is an Automotive Technician with nearly a decade of experience and a reputation for dependable, well-rounded work. A local to the area, he continues to grow his skills across the shop and takes pride in quality workmanship and a positive attitude.
Outside of work, Alex enjoys day trips and spending time with family, friends, and his Australian Shepherd, Ollie.

Ricardo
Ricardo is a Master Automotive Technician with over 25 years in the industry and a passion for developing the next generation of technicians. He built and leads Precision’s technician development program, creating structured training that turns apprentices into confident professionals.
A proud husband and father of six, he’s a first-generation American from the Dominican Republic.
Marketing
Devon
Devon leads marketing and growth for Precision Auto Repair, helping share the shop’s work, values, and community impact online. With a focus on clear messaging, strong visuals, and real results, Dev helps connect local drivers to the right services at the right time.
Outside of marketing, Dev loves creating, supporting local businesses, and building projects that give back.
